Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Nails help!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning my lovely bloggy friends. I am not at work today but as is typical I was wide awake just before the alarm. Yesterday I had to drag my sleepy self out of bed to go to work. I am heading out for a walk in a few minutes but please can I ask for some advice? Please can I ask those of you with lovely fingernails how on earth you keep them looking nice. I can grow mine quite quickly but they are so brittle and shatter easily. I have a really good diet but if you can think of something to eat that will strengthen my nails I would really appreciate you letting me know. I would love to have long strong healthy nails for The Wedding of the year.

Sweet almond oil is supposed to be good for strong healthy nails Cherie as well as a lot of other things. Some good information here......https://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/blog/products/all-about-sweet-almond-carrier-oil.html

Thanks Sheila. I will have a look into that. x
DeleteI'm no help. I keep mine short as they break easily and anyway, I prefer them short. They don;t get in the way.
ReplyDeleteSorry! :-)
Maybe you could ask at a nail place - they would know.
xx
Mornin' Joy. I keep mine short too but would love them a bit longer for the wedding.
DeleteMy beautician suggested nail hardener as my nails are weak and split and break. I use it once a week over the previous coat until it is ragged and then start again. You can paint varnish over it. It has transformed my nails and I now longer try to sit on them when socialising! There are several good makes but I prefer Sally Hansen. Hope this helps x
ReplyDeleteMy beautician suggested nail hardener (I use Sally Hansen). I paint it on once a week over the previous coat. It has transformed my nails and I’m no longer embarrassed by them. You can paint varnish over it and if you don’t you have a gentle shine to your nails. Hope this helps x
