Farewell EU

I make absolutely no apologies for celebrating tonight.  We have Lincolnshire sausage rolls, Bramley apple pies, double Gloucester, Wensleydale and Cheddar cheese, Melton Mowbray pork pies   (British pork), Bakewell tarts and English cider.  Our friends are bringing a variety of food grown and produced in Britain.   WE ARE PARTYING..... now where did I put that Union flag bunting :-)

You may remember the red white and blue belt that I made a few years ago. It's made from plastic bottles and reflective tape...… not that I am tacky of course  :-) I am amazed that it still fits my lardy body.

All set for my morning walk this morning

  3. If I was nearer I would have joined you. I watched the celebrations unfold on Twitter, and drunk a toast with cider.

    1. We have a spare bed and you would have been made very welcome. If ever you are fancying a couple of days 'up north' let me know.

    2. That's a fantastic offer, Cherie, thank you. I am hoping to get 2 or 3 days away every month. Some good walking in your area.

    3. There are plenty of lovely walks near to my house. Lovely green fields and decent footpaths.
