All back to normal now

Christmas feels as though it happened months ago, even though I realise that for a lot of people it will continue until twelfth night. We took all the trees and decorations down and got them all stowed away in the loft. It's a mammoth task and not one I ever look forward to but everything is all spick and span now. The laundry dried nicely on the line yesterday and this morning after my walk I put another line full out. I have two weeks of exams coming up from Tuesday onward so I will be out on the early train first thing for the next fortnight. I am really pleased with the new train timetable. It gives me an extra twenty five minutes at home instead of sitting at work for that time.

My lovely houseplants are back in their rightful place

I am sure they have grown quite a bit

  1. It was a struggle but we have managed to get all the decor packed away for another year, its nice to be back to some normality. Yes we do get the Northern lights here on the Isle of Lewis.

  3. Hello! So nice to meet you here!
We are slowly working on packing Christmas away.
    Slow going here.
My oldest daughter and her husband have been living with us, and they recently bought a house right down the road!
They are in the process of moving, and with the Christmas decor scattered around, this place is a hot mess! LOL
    Have a cozy Monday!

    1. Hi Billie Jo. It's lovely to see a new face here. I had my son living with me earlier this year. It was nice to have him around but oh so nice when he moved in with his girlfriend
