Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Black and blue
I have a gorgeous bruise on my back where the therapist massaged me...he did say that it would happen. I'm not sure in truth whether I feel any different though. I did sleep better than I have for a while but the hip pain doesn't seem any different. My son had warned me about 'snake oil' when I said I was going to see the therapist but anyone in severe pain will try anything to alleviate it. Perhaps I am expecting too much too soon so will give it a few days before I can say if it really made a difference or not. I don't want my blog to turn into the 'hip saga' so I will try to avoid mentioning it unless something amazing (or drastic ) happens.

I am hoping to spend some time turning Christmas cards into pretty gift tags fornext this year. If I deal with them straight away it won't be just another clutter filled drawer that I have to sort later in the year.

I do hope you get some relief and that this wasn't just a ploy by the therapist to make money. Something you mentioned in your previous post rang an alarm bell with me, though - when you said the therapist planned to only do two sessions. Usually physio takes many more sessions than that to accomplish long-lasting results, at least in my experience and that of people I've known to use it. Anything promising miracle results is probably not going to live up to its billing. But I also understand the drive to find something to take away the pain. Time will tell, I guess! I'm crossing my fingers for you.
ReplyDeleteI have had NHS physio and the therapist didn't touch me at all. This was a sports injury clinic which is a different thing. I assume if he feels he has fixed the problem then it wouldn't need follow up visits. I am just a little concerned as I feel he told my friend exactly the same thing virtually word for word. I will reserve judgement though
