Neither Tony or I had the energy to put up decs last night. I think himself is coming down with a cold as he was a bit out of sorts and looked totally exhausted. I had been for a walk on the morning, came back and did a couple of load of washing. Then I made a start on the sitting room before I went to the whist drive on the afternoon. By the time I had cooked tea and we watched a bit of TV we didn't feel like making a start. Today we are going foodie shopping for some lovely Christmas goodies. I will leave you a quick photo that I just took of the sofa. I haven't primped the cushions... probably should have done for the photo, but heck. you can see it all primped and pretty tomorrow. I wouldn't dare pan around the sitting room just yet as it looks like an explosion happened in a Christmas factory. I hope you all have a lovely weekend
You two go all out for the season! No doubt you would be very, very disappointed if you saw my house . . . We are lucky to get the tree up a full 24 hours before Christmas, and ever since our kids grew up and left home, we do very little decorating other than the tree. But I enjoy other folks' decorations!
ReplyDeleteJenny, Tony was really Mr Bah Humbug when I met him. He didn't even have a tree... so I bought him one and some decorations and a few lights. I really let the genie out of the bottle as he adores everything about Christmas now.
DeleteLooks beautiful. We have down scaled our Christmas decor as we won't be here.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wish we would scale ours down.. But then when it's all decorated and the boxes away I am pleased that we don't.
