Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... The Christmas Eve box
Last year I bought Tony a Christmas Eve box. I was a bit dubious about how robust it would be but was utterly delighted when it arrived. This will come out every year and will be filled with all manner of festive treats. I have bought him a miniature of his favourite tipple, a pair of novelty Christmas slippers and a new Santa hat with a beard. He can't find his old one and likes to wear it to the footie around Christmas time. I was going to put a lottery scratch card in but that could be a disappointment so I am skipping that one. If you have any ideas for little treats I would welcome them.

Thank you. That's a lovely thing to say
DeleteHow about Christmas PJs but I bet he's already got some. Or maybe an elf onesie! LOL A Christmas movie that you could watch together. Christmas socks. Special hot chocolate drinks. Marshmallows to put on top of hot chocolate ... Hope you both have a fun time. xx
ReplyDeleteChristmas PJs are a great idea... I've just ordered some.
DeleteHow sweet. No wonder your husband loves Christmas. That is such a pretty box. I love it. How about a candy cane or some peppermint bark?
ReplyDeleteNow that has triggered a memory. Tony loves 'Mint Imperials' and they have a special significance to us. I might blog about that some time
