Redcar Beach

Yes, Redcar is the name of the seaside town that we visited yesterday. It is about 15 or 20 minutes drive from where we live and has the most beautiful golden sands. It's a short distance from Saltburn which is another beautiful seaside town. Tony and I don't make the most of living so close to the seaside but perhaps 2019 will see us visiting more often. Car parking is free between the end of September and the beginning of May which is a bonus. I don't think my photo's capture the promenade very well but it will give you a flavour the place. We opted for a small portion of fish and chips. It cost the princely sum of £4.30 which included a cup of tea.  The staff were lovely and we will definitely visit again, I asked them if I might take their photo to put on my blog.

  1. Well, that’s another place bookmarked to visit in the new year. The art is so colourful and of course the sea sings to my soul as ever.
