My Christmas presents

Good morning everyone, I do hope that you got some nice presents and had a thoroughly lovely day yesterday.  This darn cold has really got a grip and is knocking me for six. It's a P.J day for me today as Tony is off to the footie match in Manchester.  I think a day on the sofa with a good book will do me the world of good. Santa left me three chick lit novels so  I am spoilt for choice. He also left me a gorgeous pair of suede cowboy boots  (real suede)  which will be fabulous for wearing to ceilidh's when my hip is better. We have tickets for the New Years Eve ceilidh but I don't know if my hip will allow me to get up and dance.  With a bit of luck and plenty of painkillers I might just be able to join in the fun.  The ceilidh band tend to play great easy dances on New Years Eve so that those who aren't accustomed to dancing can have a fun evening too.
Alexander and Hannah bought us some smashing presents as well as the annual 'pebble picture' that I ask them to make for me each year. I have four now and each one is a totally unique piece of art. I love the simplicity of this style of art and it is nice to think of them sitting together making it for me. If you aren't sure what 'pebble pictures' are then google it. You will be amazed at how pretty some of them are. I will pop back later today and share some photos of my lovely presents. It's cup of tea time now.
