It's so mild

I am amazed at just how mild it is for December.  I still have loads of summer flowers blooming in my garden. The rose bush is filled with fragrant flowers and there is even a salmon pink gladioli just opening. Perhaps a little later today I will share a photo of my 'yarn bombed' holly tree. The holly, self seeded itself and initially I had planned to dig it out. I'm glad that I didn't as gradually I am training it into a lollipop. I had hoped to put a few red velvet bows on it but it's been very wet and miserable. I might get them done today.
All week I have fought a streaming cold but it shows no sign of shifting. I'll give whist a miss if it doesn't go after I have been for a walk. The fresh air will do me the world of good and might help to clear my lungs.

  1. Hope you feel better after your walk today.

  2. Hope you feel better soon. I love the idea of a holly bush wrapped in a big red bow.
