A lovely day in town

We have had a smashing day today. The sun was shining and the sky was blue as we caught the train into town for a few last minute things. I found a sweet Santa Claus plant pot holder and a very pretty china dish that I will use as a plant pot. Tony bought me a little cut glass bird ornament. I think it is possibly meant to be a Christmas ornament but I am planning on hanging it up all year. After a very tasty lunch in a pub we had time to kill before the train was due so set off for a trawl around the charity shops before getting the train home. We are now curled up in front of the fire for the rest of the evening.  How has your day gone
