I find it very hard to believe that it is really past the middle of October. It has been absolutely gorgeous today so another visit to the local garden centre was on the cards. We bought a few more houseplants and then we called into B and M.. where a beautiful bright pink cordyline and a pot full of very fragrant pinks begged to come home with us :-). I have put the pot of pinks on the stairs and it is perfuming the whole of the entrance hall. The gorgeous green crinkly plant reminds me of my favourite 'ribbon pasta'. The pasta isn't green but it is lovely and crinkly (Aldi special). I have made little macramé hangers for some old chipped teacups. They do look pretty with little plants inside. Tony's mini cactus garden looks nice now that the plants are settling in. I may get the Fimo out and make a few little ornaments to add to the pot... but then again I might not.

| It is a much more vibrant pink than the photo implies. |

Lucky you to be able to have so many houseplants - our cats would "rearrange" them and "redistribute" the contents - hah
ReplyDeleteOh...beautiful and healthy plants! I'm sure they will be happy and well cared for with you.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using old cups and such for planting.
