A lovely warm day

It's hard to believe that we are almost in the middle of October. The past few days have been glorious with warm and sunny weather from dawn till dusk.. I don't think it is forecast to continue so I have made the most of it while it lasts. Unfortunately I haven't been able to enjoy long walks with my friends but am making do with short ones to keep my hip mobile. The garden is looking a bit scruffy and overgrown but it will have to wait until my hip is less painful. Gladioli continue to give me gorgeous spikes of colour and there is still a lot of colour in the garden.
I think we are planning a lazy weekend if the weather is awful. Perhaps a day of catch up TV and pizza.

  1. Hip replacement - I had one 18 months ago. Now completely pain free! I can bushwalk with my group 13kms on Sundays, and have been back to Spain twice to walk various bits of the Camino de Santiago. Do some physio before and after the op to strengthen the muscles (even if you have to pay for this!)

    1. Thanks Margaret. I am currently having physio sessions about once each month. I have another four to go

  2. Storm Callum has hit here so it is blowing a gale and raining. Thankfully, we have plenty to keep us occupied.
