Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... A little retro
When I was visiting my friend the other week I happened to ask if I could have one of the babies from her spider plant... She brought me the entire thing as she isn't overly keen on house plants. Well while I was reading a home design magazine I noticed some plants in macramé hangers... hmmmn thinks me. I have one of those in my stash somewhere. Turns out I actually have two so I will be looking for another plant to put into the other one. It looks very retro hanging from a hook in the ceiling... I remember back in the seventies that they were common place in most people's homes. House plants are making a big comeback all of a sudden.

I am looking out for one of those hangers as I would love to hang one in the corner of the bathroom.
ReplyDeleteI love to see houseplants, bit of green around the house, not that I have a good track record with them xx
ReplyDeleteI have spider plants growing in pots outside my front door. And around one of my birdbaths in the garden too. They are very hardy! I've read that houseplants help to cleanse indoor air we breathe so having a few inside can be a good idea. Meg:)
ReplyDeleteI love my house plants. This looks great Cherie :-)
ReplyDeleteSpider plants and macrame hangers....wow they bring back some memories. They were my Grandma's most favourite things in the seventies.....along with her collection of china dalmations.
