Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Squeezing a quart into a pint pot
We have spent the day gardening today. When I say we I mean me. (Tony did work in the garden all afternoon though) Himself, went off to a model train something or other this morning and I trimmed more off the hedge... Then I had a brain wave,... don't laugh. these brain waves always ending up leaving me worn out at the end of the day. I decided I would move my little greenhouse and the sentry box where we keep our gardening tools... so I did. Of course these things are never as easy and straight forward as simply moving them.. oh no... They have to be emptied and swept out first. I moved the little greenhouse and have re potted and installed all my pips and stones in there.. This leaves a gap yet to be filled in the conservatory.. Don't worry, I am sure I can find something to fill it with... I digress... Then I emptied the sentry box... and that is no mean feat as we have so much gardening stuff in there. It is only about two feet by two feet and five foot tall but oh boy can it hold some stuff.. I had just got it emptied when Tony came back. He made us both a cuppa and then lent a hand moving the sentry box.. The garden rehash is coming along nicely... and I have had another brainwave but that can wait for another weekend. Tony's football season starts next week … He has a match on Friday
