I must look hungry... :-)

Tony and I did a little skip diving this morning.  I found a whole pile of big plant pots and several pieces of 'good' wood. The skip owner(hirer)? tells me that they are Oak and mahogany. I have never carved oak or mahogany before so it will be interesting to see what I can create. He offered us a double garage door too.... we didn't take him up on that offer.

My friend Kath popped in this afternoon bringing me two date and walnut scones.... We won't be walking together for a week as she is going away on holiday with her other half and I will be working all week.  Tony and I are going out for tea on Monday and then I am going out for tea with friends on Tuesday.... I feel a size larger looming

  2. I've never had the courage to go dumpster diving (which is what we call it on this side of the Atlantic :)) ... good finds in your skip! Like Toni, I'm interested in what you will do with the wood.
