Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Blimey... we have monsoon weather
It is absolutely chucking it down. Lightening is flashing and thunder is rumbling.... and I need to go out. I am waiting for the storm to abate before dashing around to my friends house for a lift… Poor Marion has broken her wrist and she just rang and suggested I nip round between storms while we wait for the lady that is picking us both up. I am a bit wary of lightening so am hoping it will have gone before I need to leave. The sky is starting to look a bit promising.. Almost black at the back of the house but starting to lighten up at the front.. I think I will wait a while. If you hear on the news that someone went bang in a flash of lightening and I have disappeared from blog world then it may well have been me... I do hope not though. :-)

I think you're wise to be wary of lightning! Some people will go out in anything and they are taking a chance, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to be getting some of that tonight from 8pm. I do so hope the lightening doesn't hit the sub station again as it has done countless times before.
ReplyDeleteKeep safe.
Hugs-x-
Oh, stay safe, Cherie. Better safe than sorry, as the saying goes...
ReplyDeleteHope all is well and that the storm has passed.
