Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Exhausted today
Tony and I had a great time at the ceilidh last night. As usual we danced every dance and came home utterly exhausted. I slept really well but feel a little wrung out. Yesterday while out walking with my friend I had a nasty fall. My wrist, hip and arm are beautiful shades of purple and my wrist is aching. I am sure it isn't broken and will simply need a bit of rest and plenty of witch hazel. It is my own fault as I was too busy eyeballing all the cherry trees when I slipped on a patch of gravel. I bounced against the fence and landed in a very unladylike heap. I will be more careful next time.
