The beautiful purple kale has turned to seed now and the flowers are a glorious froth of lemon yellow. We have eaten kale all through the winter months. It is such a useful and very pretty plant to put in the garden,
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Absolutely perishing
The sunshine of the past few days has really swelled the poppy buds. When we came home this evening this huge poppy had unfurled its petals. It is the size of a small tea plate and the most glorious vibrant red. When I say the sunshine of the past few days. I actually am not including today in that. Yesterday was a gloriously sunny day and I went to work in a t shirt. Today it has been so cold that I had to wear my winter coat to work. I had a walk out at lunch time and was glad to get back to work to warm up.
