I wish to heck this bug would clear off. It's starting to get me down. Joy I hope you feel better than I do. I'd hoped to nip to the library yesterday to access their free WiFi. I was going to spend an hour catching up commenting on your blogs. Please do forgive me, as soon as I feel better I'll have a proper catchup.. I'm trying to get used to not having broadband and it's a bit of a nuisance having to sit in the porch to read all your smashing blogs. It's the only place in the house that I can guarantee the signal won't drop out. Even then it starts buffering. What do you think of my home grown celeriac. I've another ten just like it. This one will be made into celeriac chips for tea tonight.

Oh, Cherie, I do sympathise. I'm really on the mend now and feel almost back to normal but it took nearly three weeks. It really does get one down. Lots of love, gentle hugs and healing vibes heading your way. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy. I'll be relieved to feel normal again. X
DeleteI'm sorry your bug holds in. Admittedly, I don't know what celeriac is. Is it like a turnip?
ReplyDeleteIt is a swollen root and tastes exactly like celery. It makes lovely chips.
DeleteGoodness me, that cold's lingering isn't it? Hope you feel better soon! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Vix. It's getting me down now.
DeleteThat celeriac looks amazing. I love it in slow cooked stews.
ReplyDeleteMy version of the bug has basically taken all of October and I'm still struggling to keep going. I hope it works out better for you.
Hope you feel better soon. That celeriac is HUGE! Never tried it, so maybe I should see if anyone sells them around here, though I do know the big supermarkets don't. Now rest up & get rid of that dreadful bug. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan. It's been a successful crop this year but not so good last year. I gave it a good long growing season this time. X
DeleteSorry about the connection. Nice celeriac!
ReplyDeleteI seem to have a good signal today as long as I sit in the porch. X
Delete..and I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteHi Cherie, What a shame that you are still not feeling well. My friend has been very ill, too. That's a beautiful celeriac.
