Tony and I had a cracking evening at our carving club last night. They are such a great crowd and the chitchat is fun. If anyone is planning on visiting Hurworth Country Fair on Saturday, come and say hello. We will be there 'manning the stand' and it would be lovely to meet up and have a cuppa. My little carving is coming along nicely though it is still along way from being finished.
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... My wood carving this morning
Yesterday I opened a new bottle of olive oil and carefully removed the plastic ring seal thingamajig. I washed it and put it on the kitchen windowsill to dry as I had a recycled project in mind...... Tony threw it in the recycle bin.. I will have a look and see if it is sitting on the top of the papers and things in there. If not I am not scrabbling around the bin to find it so will have to wait until I get another.

That is looking so nice Cherie. It must take a lot of patience.

It is a really good hobby for destressing. I seldom use a mallet but if someone has annoyed me then the wood gets a good bashing.
