Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... If gardening is more your thing you might prefer my gardening blog... https://backgardenveggieplot.blogspot.com/

Do you keep your avocados outside, I grew mine until winter came and the cold weather killed it.
ReplyDeleteI've never grown them before but plan to overwinter them indoors... gawd knows where though. :-)
DeleteWhat a spectacular garden you have! Everything looks so lush and green.
ReplyDeleteIt does look very green now that a lot of the summer colour has gone
DeleteI lok at all this lovely garden and wonder how you could leave it if you move.
ReplyDeleteGreat log store.

We would start all over again from scratch. We would love a much bigger garden
DeleteYou have a lovely garden, what is it growing in the 3 big planters? x
ReplyDeleteThose are my fruit trees. A fig, an orange and a lemon
DeleteOh ok thankyou, just wondering, I must get around to trying to grow some.
DeleteLove your garden colour especially your Pyracantha hedge. We planted ‘Orange Glow’ along the fence at the bottom of our garden which hubby had to tie in to wires so we could train the stems along the fence. Our berriesare just starting to colour up but the sparrows have decided they like the taste of them so looks like they will all go before the Blackbirds and Redwings get to them in the winter months. Wendyanne...
ReplyDeleteI always wonder why the birds don't leave them for winter. Last year they ate all the red ones but left the orange ones. It will be interesting to see what they do this year
DeleteWe have a pyracantha hedge to hide a really shabby wall and it has suddenly developed plenty of berries after the recent rain. Your garden is really lush but my home is where my husband is, so I could start again too. I’m waiting to put bulbs into a new planter DH built but we’ll need to cover with wire and briscks. Last year something dug up every single bulb in each tub!
ReplyDeleteWe have grey squirrels digging in our tubs every year. Tony hates them and calls them tree rats. They pinch my bulbs but leave walnuts behind
DeleteIt all looks so beautiful! Very green and lush. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
