My garden today... it is very green and lush

I have just had a little wander around the garden and taken a few photos. It looks very green out there.  The Pyracantha hedge that runs the full length of the garden is starting to colour up beautifully. We planted alternate orange and red bushes but over the years they have mingled together to create a beautiful warm tapestry

The avocados are doing really well

  1. Do you keep your avocados outside, I grew mine until winter came and the cold weather killed it.

  5. Love your garden colour especially your Pyracantha hedge. We planted ‘Orange Glow’ along the fence at the bottom of our garden which hubby had to tie in to wires so we could train the stems along the fence. Our berriesare just starting to colour up but the sparrows have decided they like the taste of them so looks like they will all go before the Blackbirds and Redwings get to them in the winter months. 1. I always wonder why the birds don't leave them for winter. Last year they ate all the red ones but left the orange ones. It will be interesting to see what they do this year

  6. We have a pyracantha hedge to hide a really shabby wall and it has suddenly developed plenty of berries after the recent rain. Your garden is really lush but my home is where my husband is, so I could start again too. I’m waiting to put bulbs into a new planter DH built but we’ll need to cover with wire and briscks. Last year something dug up every single bulb in each tub!

    1. We have grey squirrels digging in our tubs every year. Tony hates them and calls them tree rats. They pinch my bulbs but leave walnuts behind
