It's broken

Alexander rang me after his appointment at the hospital. The consultant confirmed that his ankle is indeed broken. He has to go back in two weeks time to be x rayed again to make sure that it is healing properly. He is not to walk and must keep it elevated as much as possible...

How has the weather been with you.  We haven't had a bad day but nothing to write home about.  I stripped the bed before I went out with the walking group this morning. I had two loads of laundry done by 08.30 this morning. This afternoon I went to the craft group and had a good old natter with everyone. I still managed to get some of the sock knitted and it is progressing nicely. Before I went to the craft group I made meat loaf to pop in the oven for tea.  I am planning to serve it with some steamed veg.  I hope it tastes as good as it smells.

  1. Sorry to hear it was broken. I haven't had meat loaf in ages, I must look out a recipe for later in the week.
