Stuffocation and my epic fail

I am pondering on my News Years resolution this morning.  Top of my list is to cull my stuff.  I have so  much 'stuff' that people have given me and I know an awful lot of it is so easy for me to replace.  I have no idea why I allowed my craft workshop to become a dumping ground for utter junk........ yes you heard me right.  I have a craft room full of other peoples junk. Each time I give a talk or run a workshop people offer me more stuff.  Most of which I can easily produce on my own. This is the year that I say NO to other peoples junk.  Now I am not talking about nice papers, ribbons and beads etc.  I am talking about the bottle tops, packing boxes, bits of cellophane, newspapers and magazines that people seem to think I would need.  If I live ten lifetimes I couldn't use all the junk that people offer me. 2016 is going to be the year of the major cull and I hopefully will regain control in my craft room.

As for my epic fail....... Last week I said that I would lose 3lbs by tomorrow. hahahahahahahahhaah. I am too bone idle to go for the walk I said that I would take each day. I partied/socialised pretty much every day last week and believe me there is only so much salad that a weak willed person can eat at a party. Not only have I not lost the three pounds but have actually gained a pound.  Alexander is coming home today and if I can persuade him to go for a walk every day then there is still time for me to lose a little bit before Christmas day...... Don't hold your breath though

  1. I hear your pain with al, your craft items, my ink stamps alone are out of control.

  2. I'm with you on the messy craft room, I am continually clearing mine but it only stays tidy for a short while. At the moment there are all odd things in it as we have visitors for the christmas.
Don't worry about the pound, just have a lovely christmas.
